Even worse, it will take them anywhere from 40 to 100 years to decompose.
And at the moment recycling is not a solution: ripped tights cannot be recycled into new ones.
This is why London based start-up Billi London wants to disturb the old-fashion and unsustainable hosiery industry with enhanced biodegradable tights.
